3- And all the rest
Relax on the idyllic beach in Tulum. White powdery sand, coconut trees, a turquoise sea and the sun ever shining in the sky above has given the beach it’s many rankings as one of the best beaches in the world. Here you can also enjoy delicious food such as shrimp tacos or freshly caught grilled fish, or maybe a ice cold mojito as the sun sets and the sky turns pink. During the winter season Tulum is also a fabulous location for kitesurfing (especially beginners) as there are several kite schools and rentals along the beach. The Yucatán is also famous for it’s rich cultural history, something that can be seen by the many fantastic Mayan ruins in the area. The ruins in Tulum are the only ones that are found directly on the coast and a visit here offers a spectacular view with the turquoise ocean as the backdrop. Rent a car or book a day trip to explore other sites such as Chichen Itza, Cobá, Uxmal and Ek-Balam.
Round off your diving holidays with activities in all kind and rewarding. Take advantage of being in Tulum to take some time for yourself and come along for a Astanga-Yoga, Hatha-Yoga or a Vinyasa Yoga class.
