Just a perfect day

Dive with professionnals, dive the unbelievable.

To keep it simple, a cenote is a natural freshwater crystal-clear swimming pool in the middle of the jungle. There are about 10000 cenotes scattered throughout the Yucatan Peninsula, and they exist in various shapes, sizes and locations. Cenotes are part of a wide underground river system which is in fact, what makes up the caves we dive in. And the deeper we go into these systems, the more chances we have to dive into salt water!

Cenote Diving

A day of diving with Zen is: we meet at the diveshop around 8 am for coffee and introductions with your guide, get equipped and begin the journey to discover our favorite cenotes. You will be accompanied with your own personal guide, whom in addition to taking a great care of you, will tell the history of the cenotes and everything there is to know about the area.

We encourage lots of questions at this time! Groups can be of 4 divers maximum, and it is depending on your wishes as well as your level, what sites we will decide to take you to. Dives are done at a leisurely pace, with plenty of snacks, and water. The only thing you need to worry about is your bathing suit and your towel!

Ocean Dives

The barrier reef of Tulum is part of the second largest reef on the planet, the Mezoamerican Reef, starting from the north of Cancun going all the way down to Honduras. You will discover a marvelous aquatic world, full of coral species, turtles, sponges, crustaceans, and fish, all with different shapes and colors. Far away from the touristic beaches, these sites are not very visited, and we will therefore benefit from the natural tranquility of the reef.
The barrier reef is at more or less 1 km from the coast. To reach the reef, we will board a little motorized boat, with a travel time of 10 to 30 min, depending on the specific sites we visit that day. The most interesting sites are located at a depth within 8 to 25m. The tour can include 1 or 2 dives, with a surface interval that will be done on the boat. Obviously, we are always entirely dependent on weather conditions, as Mother Nature always has the final say.

Duration: Half Day.
Price:  100$ for 1 dive / 150$ for 2 dives

Includes equipment, cenote entrance fees, transportation, snacks and water. Tips are not included and always appreciated by our staff if you are satisfied with the service
